Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Qurxa Trade processes, why it is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.

Effective August 2, 2026

Privacy at a glance

  • Qurxa Trade does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • Simulated demo trading state stays in your browser unless you choose to send feedback.
  • Account authentication and core infrastructure use Amazon Web Services; supported paper-broker actions use Alpaca.
  • Feedback and access requests are limited to the information you choose to submit plus minimal technical context.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Qurxa Trade websites, the public demo, QT account experiences, and authenticated Qurxa Trade application features. Qurxa Trade is provided by Qurxa. It does not cover third-party websites or services that publish their own privacy policies.

Qurxa Trade is a manual trade-instruction and review interface. This policy covers data handling; it does not change the product's non-autonomous trading model.

2. Information we collect

The information processed depends on which part of Qurxa Trade you use.

  • QT account and authentication data: your email address, account identifiers, sign-in and verification status, security events, and session information. Passwords and verification or recovery codes are handled by Amazon Cognito; Qurxa Trade application servers do not receive or store your plaintext password.
  • Access requests: the email address you submit and a short source label used to understand where the request originated.
  • Feedback: the category and message you submit, submission time, page path and query, referrer origin, app and execution mode, and coarse browser, platform, and device class. Feedback does not automatically include your authentication token, account identity, positions, orders, trade instructions, broker state, or email address.
  • Authenticated application data: account identifiers, supported broker and paper-account facts, positions, orders, instructions, interpretations, confirmations, validation results, execution status, and audit or diagnostic records needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Technical data: hosting and API systems may process IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, response status, and security or diagnostic logs.

3. How we use information

Qurxa Trade uses information to provide account access; verify identity and protect sessions; interpret, validate, review, confirm, and record user-initiated actions; operate the public demo; process access requests and feedback; troubleshoot and improve reliability; prevent abuse; maintain security and audit records; and meet legal obligations.

Qurxa Trade does not use your data to recommend investments or initiate autonomous trades.

4. Demo and browser storage

The public demo stores simulated cash, positions, orders, request history, and related demo state in browser storage. Frozen demo prices and simulated trading state are not sent to a trading backend. This browser data may remain until you reset the demo, clear site data, or remove it through your browser settings.

QT also uses browser or session storage for essential authentication state, request history, and interface preferences. Sending feedback is a separate action: only the feedback record described above is transmitted when you press Send.

5. When information is shared

Qurxa Trade does not sell personal information. It does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not serve targeted advertisements.

Information may be disclosed to service providers that operate the product on Qurxa's behalf, including Amazon Web Services for hosting, authentication, email verification, APIs, databases, logs, and private storage, and Alpaca for supported paper-broker functions. These providers process information according to their services and contractual terms.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate misuse, enforce applicable agreements, or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the product subject to appropriate protections.

6. Retention

Retention varies by record and purpose. Account, application, broker-action, audit, access-request, feedback, security, and diagnostic records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide and protect the service, maintain required records, resolve requests, or satisfy legal obligations. The current public access-request and feedback systems do not promise a fixed user-facing deletion schedule.

Browser-only demo data follows the browser-storage behavior described above. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or retained system records after deletion where required for security, integrity, or legal compliance.

7. Security

Qurxa Trade uses administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, including access controls, authenticated API routes, encryption in transit, encrypted private storage, and separation between demo and real-app authentication environments. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Do not put passwords, verification codes, broker credentials, government identifiers, bank credentials, payment card details, or account numbers into an access request or feedback message.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what personal information is held about you, request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy, or object to or restrict certain processing. Qurxa Trade does not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Use the Feedback button in the footer and identify your message as a privacy request. Include an email address you control if you need a response, preferably the email associated with your QT account. Qurxa may need to verify your identity before completing a request and will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Cookies, analytics, and tracking signals

Qurxa Trade currently does not use third-party advertising pixels or cross-site analytics cookies. Essential browser storage is used for authentication, demo state, request history, and interface preferences.

Because Qurxa Trade does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change the service's current behavior. This section will be updated if those practices change.

10. Children

Qurxa Trade is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Qurxa does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, use the Feedback button to request its removal.

11. International use

Qurxa Trade and its service providers currently process information in the United States. If you access the service from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Qurxa Trade changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date and, when appropriate, an additional notice in the service.

13. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the Feedback button in the footer, select General, and begin your message with 'Privacy request.' Include a reply email only if you want a response. Do not include passwords, broker credentials, verification codes, or account numbers.
