1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Use govern access to Qurxa Trade websites, QT accounts, the browser-only demo, and authenticated application features provided by Qurxa. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter an agreement, and located in a place where your use is lawful. The initial connected release is intended for users in the United States.
2. What Qurxa Trade does
Qurxa Trade translates a stock-trading instruction you enter into a prepared broker action, checks available account and broker facts, shows its interpretation, and waits for explicit confirmation before supported submission.
Qurxa Trade is not an autonomous trading system, robo-adviser, investment adviser, broker-dealer, exchange, or source of investment recommendations. It does not select securities, determine whether a trade is suitable for you, or promise any investment result.
Features described in these terms are available only when enabled for your account. Describing a feature here is not a promise that it is currently available.
3. Simulated Paper trading
The connected service supports Alpaca Paper connections only. Paper trading is simulated and uses no real money. Simulated results may differ materially from real-market execution, liquidity, fills, prices, fees, market impact, availability, and other conditions.
Customer Live trading is not available. QT identifies the selected Paper account during account selection, review, and confirmation. You are responsible for confirming that the intended Paper account is selected before submitting an action.
Prices, quotes, account facts, and status information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or supplied by third parties. Review current information in your broker account before relying on it.
4. Alpaca connection
Qurxa Trade uses Alpaca for supported Paper-trading connectivity. Paper trading is simulated and uses no real money. The browser-only demo does not connect to Alpaca.
Alpaca is a separate third-party service. Your Alpaca account remains governed by Alpaca's agreements, disclosures, policies, eligibility rules, and technical controls. Qurxa Trade is not developed by or endorsed by Alpaca.
Where QT offers customer Alpaca connections, it uses OAuth authorization for Paper connections and does not ask for your Alpaca password or API keys. Authorization is restricted to the Paper environment. You may deny the requested permissions or disconnect QT. Disconnecting or deleting QT does not cancel or modify orders, positions, or the Alpaca account itself.
5. Your instructions and confirmations
You are responsible for the content, accuracy, timing, and consequences of every instruction you enter and every prepared action you confirm. Read the symbol, side, size, order type, price, duration, account, environment, warnings, and other displayed details before confirming.
Translation, validation, review, and confirmation controls reduce certain input mistakes but cannot eliminate errors, outages, stale data, market changes, broker rejections, duplicate actions outside QT, or losses. Do not confirm an action you do not understand or intend.
6. QT account security
Keep your QT account, password, verification methods, devices, and sessions secure. Do not share authentication codes or permit another person to trade through your account. Notify QT support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, and separately contact Alpaca for activity involving the broker account.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your verified email address current. QT may require reauthentication or renewed broker authorization to protect the service.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, evade access controls or rate limits, probe another user's data, introduce malicious code, disrupt operations, scrape protected application content, reverse engineer protected components except where law expressly permits it, or use QT for unlawful, deceptive, manipulative, abusive, or unauthorized trading activity.
You may not present QT as an Alpaca product, use another person's broker account without authorization, or use the service in a manner that violates market rules, sanctions, export controls, or third-party agreements.
8. Ownership and feedback
Qurxa Trade software, interfaces, documentation, text, graphics, logos, and other product materials are owned by Qurxa or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as provided.
If you submit feedback, you permit Qurxa to use it to operate and improve the service without an obligation to compensate you. Do not submit confidential information or material you lack the right to share.
9. Availability and changes
QT may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, supported instructions, brokers, environments, or access when reasonably necessary for security, compliance, maintenance, provider changes, or product operation. The service may be unavailable without notice.
QT may block an instruction or connection when required information is missing, data is stale, authorization is invalid, the broker rejects a request, ownership cannot be proved, or a safety or compliance control fails.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qurxa Trade is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Qurxa disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free or uninterrupted operation.
No QT content or feature is a guarantee of order acceptance, execution, cancellation, price, fill, performance, profit, loss avoidance, security, or regulatory outcome. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qurxa and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, trading losses, lost data, or business interruption arising from or related to the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Rights available under applicable consumer law remain in effect.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using QT at any time. Where disconnect or account-deletion controls are available, you may use them; otherwise, use the Feedback button to request account help or deletion. QT may suspend or terminate access for security, legal, compliance, abuse, nonpayment if paid services are later introduced, material breach, or discontinuation of the service.
Account deletion removes the QT identity and customer connection records described in the Privacy Policy. It does not delete an Alpaca account or alter broker-side activity. Terms that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
13. Changes and contact
QT may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. Material updates will be posted with a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. Continuing to use the service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
For terms questions, use the Feedback button in the footer, choose General, and begin the message with 'Terms question.' Do not include passwords, authentication codes, broker credentials, or account numbers.
