Qurxa Trade

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about plain-English trade instructions, manual confirmation, broker actions, account checks, and the public demo.

Which order types does Qurxa Trade currently support?

The current authenticated Alpaca paper-account path supports market orders, limit orders, sell trailing stops, and market-on-open orders. Limit and trailing-stop instructions can use GTC duration; eligible orders can also use day duration. Market-on-close and stop-limit submission are not currently enabled in that path.

Which brokers are supported?

The current authenticated paper-trading path supports Alpaca paper accounts. The public demo uses browser-only simulated account data and does not connect to a broker. Additional broker adapters may be added later, but they are not supported today.

Does Qurxa Trade place trades automatically?

No. Qurxa Trade is not a bot. It translates plain-language trading instructions you initiate into prepared broker actions and waits for your explicit confirmation before a supported action is submitted.

Does Qurxa Trade recommend what to buy or sell?

No. Qurxa Trade translates the trading instruction you initiate; it is not a recommendation engine or autonomous trading strategy. You choose the security and the action, and QT prepares the corresponding broker action for your confirmation.

What does the public demo show?

The demo shows the QT command, interpretation, validation, review, and confirmation workflow using frozen prices and browser-only simulated cash, positions, and orders. It is limited to AAPL, AMZN, MSFT, NVDA, and TSLA and does not submit broker orders.

What account checks happen before confirmation?

Qurxa checks the interpreted instruction against available account facts, including buying power, positions, available shares, supported security types, supported order types, and configured account limits. The exact checks depend on the instruction and connected account.

Can Qurxa Trade cancel orders?

For supported accounts and open orders, Qurxa Trade can prepare a cancellation request and show the selected order and action for confirmation before submission.

Can I reduce or exit an existing position with a plain-English command?

Yes, when the connected account and held position support the instruction. QT can interpret share, dollar, or percentage reductions and full-position exits, then checks the held and available shares before presenting the action for confirmation.

What is the difference between the demo and an authenticated paper account?

The demo is a five-symbol browser simulation with frozen prices and local simulated state. The authenticated paper-account path can retrieve supported Alpaca paper account facts and current stock data when available through the connected broker, and it can submit only confirmed, supported paper-broker actions. Neither path is autonomous or a source of trade recommendations.

Is Qurxa Trade financial advice?

No. Qurxa Trade translates user-initiated, plain-language trading instructions into prepared broker actions. Review and confirmation are safeguards in that workflow. QT does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
